Popurls and Twidroid Are Acquired by TweetUp

Pasadena-based TweetUp, the Twitter advertising startup from Idealab, has acquired Twidroid, soon to be renamed Twidroyd as well as the RSS aggregator Popurls. If you’re not familiar with Popurls, it’s a website that brings the latest headlines from numerous websites. Another example of an RSS aggregator is Alltop, which allows you to customize which websites you want to aggregate your news from.
